Lots of fun for the Cars Movie Fans (2008-12-18)
This game follows the Cars Movie almost completely. If you have a "Cars" Fan in your midst this is a great game. It is directed towards younger children.
This game, as the others for the VSmile are, is will made and has stood the test of time among my household of three young children. My 9 year old will still play with it once in a while but it is a bit young for him.
The only note I'd made is that VSmile is sold as an educational toy and the games that go with it are supposed to be as well. I'm not convinced that any part of this system is overly educational. This game is more like a review for skills that have already been learned rather than a way to teach new things to your child. That is my experience at least.
Enjoy.
Good educational fun (2007-12-28)
All these are great fun for the whole family, you will have to reiterate the letters and words out loud as you go along for the kids as they are on the small size and can be missed easily because of the action of the game. Kids seem to enjoy them and don't get "to" frustrated when their playing
fun... with adult assistance (2007-12-01)
The concepts are a bit tough for the kids. It's challenging for my 4 year old, but not overwhelming. He enjoys playing it. I'd say the age range for most of the v-smile games are skewed by about a year (the kids should be older than the recommended age).
The durability is rated low because most of our games lock up on a regular basis.
FUN (2007-08-25)
This game is fun and cute and a little tricky all in one. If you have a cars fan then they will like this game. My son, who isn't a big cas kid, really liked this one and finds the challenge that cars has to offer a great bonus.
Great Game! (2007-08-01)
My 4 yr old daughter is loving this game! The games are different from the other Smartridges she has, which is a good thing. The age range is close to accurate. She definitely has several years on this game as some of the adventures are advanced such as odd and even numbers (something she has not learned yet but might with this game!). I'd rate it as one of the best Smartridges.
